I just don’t see Bivol going down to 168 to fight Clenelo for only three belts (WBC’s Sulaiman already said that his organization will not authorized that fight). Clenelo has to fight the winner of Benavidez-Plant fight in September or lose the belt. Doors are closing rapidly on Clenelo and pushing him into retirement. Only losses are on his future.

Canelo is worried about fighting Bivol. He's overlooking Ryder, and probably plans on playing more golf. No matter what level anyone is on, they can get beaten on any given night, whilst underestimating their opponent.

Canelo's output was literally 1 punch difference between Callum and Bivol, only difference was the quality of fighter he was in against. Canelo can't significantly increase his output enough to offset what Bivol brings without tiring himself out in the process. He's getting older as well, so not sure why some guys here think he can miraculously increase stamina out of nowhere.

It’s your story to tell but I stand by my post. Any fighter (Ryder) who needed a gift decision to beat Danny Jacobs is never gonna beat Canelo. Even if Canelo is distracted. The talent gap is too big.

He should fight just like what Duran and Tyson said.

            - Press Bivol at front foot.
            - Try combinations and jabs to crack his defense.
            - Try body shots.
            - Make head movement and make him miss.

Canelo can beat Bivol at 168 with that strategy. He won't be gassed out with this way and his output will be better. Also, Bivol's output and stamina will be worse at 168. He will be drained. No one can get better with 7 lbs loss after 32. Bivol will be almost 33 in September.

He and his team should work on Bivol's performances. Also, he should watch his Daniel Jacobs and Callum Smith performances.
The best canelo I’ve ever seen was the Amir Khan canelo… if they mf shows up regardless if it’s 75 or 68 Bivol isn’t going to do ****! Matter fact canelo won’t lose from 60-75 if that version appears

Yes, he has a say, but why the hell would he give up $$$$$$$ millions by not fighting someone he already beat and a shot at undisputed at 168?!

It's a win win for the guy. Even if he loses or gets robbed by Canelo at 168, he still has the Beterbiev fight at 175 and second shot at Undisputed.

Best case... he steal's canelos belts at 168, and then next fight becomes undisputed at 175.... and becomes ATG and financially set for life.
wrong, Bivol HAD a contractual obligation, but Canelo ended up declining it

That's why they both had different fights since their match-up.

Hearn is just saying money talks, and Canelo will tell Bivol to take it or leave it and he's assuming Bivol will take it

Exactly , he declined by not fighting him after his loss to Bivol
Anyway , this is all Fast Eddie talking and trying to stir chit up
Let’s hear what Canelo has to say cause I think he will be singing a totally different tune

Really? Khan version ain't one of his best versions imo. He set up the same punch again and again. Then, finally landed it.

His best versions are Liam Smith at 154, Danny Jacobs at 160 and Callum Smith at 168. The best one is Danny Jacobs in my opinion.

Yeah he was on in all those fights.. just like how fast he was vs khan and I’m not talking about hand speed more brain speed is what I mean… one thing is for sure, Bivol won’t be facing the same canelo in the rematch regardless of the weight. He will face the best version this time around and if Bivol beats him again… then that’s it I’ll tip my cap to the better boxer. I doubt he will beat him again… EVER

We're actually talking about the same thing and on the same way. You said that Canelo should fight like at 155 lbs and I say that he should fight like against Jacobs. Combinations, jabs and solid defense.

Bivol ain't very strong guy and got backed easily by smaller Canelo. He couldn't answer Canelo's body shots in R9 and lost the round. He missed tons of punches when Canelo was on defensive mode. That fight also partially exposed Bivol not only Canelo.

Now, watch that video. If Canelo walks him down with combinations, jabs and head movement instead of loaded up arm punches, he beats Bivol at 168. He won't be gassed out and Bivol will be even weaker. Canelo was looking ***in cool.
