Canelo’s spoiled and entitled ass is out here ruining the fights that matter just because he’s a sore loser. Bivol should say fook Canelo, his excuses, and Hearn, and insist on a unification with Beterbiev. Bivol said legacy is more important than money, now is the time to prove it. Canelo can get his ass kicked by Benavidez (since Canelo is walking around claiming undisputed status despite never beating the previous owner of that title who never lost it in the ring) instead while Bivol and Beterbiev unify.

While I think Canelo is vulnerable, the guys who needed a gift decision (Ryder) to beat Danny Jacobs, ain’t beating Canelo. There’s levels to this sport.

You’re ignoring a few key points in this comparison. Ruiz was a fat shyt who became an even fatter shyt for his rematch with Joshua. Floyd was significantly more skilled than both Castillo and Maidana, so he used his skill to make adjustments. Canelo literally has no advantages over bivol. He’s not the more skilled boxer, he doesn’t have anywhere near the same kind of endurance as Bivol, and he’s the shorter man. The only advantage he has is that he often has the judges in his pocket.

Huge differences in those fights and Canelo/Bivol. Joshua was winning the first fight and gassed out. The second fight Ruiz didn’t train. Crooked scorecards aside, Bivol dominated Canelo. The other fights were both close fights to begin with. Again, crooked scorecards aside, there was absolutely nothing close about Canelo/Bivol.

Bivol dominated Canelo with a tight defense, superior footwork and an unbelievable control of distance. The way to offset these advantages is with fast feet and/or reach. Canelo has neither. Unless the weight issue severely affects Bivol, Canelo is headed for another lopsided decision loss, unless the cards are crooked again. And Bivol might even win with crooked scorecards.

Does anybody know if Bivol is legally obligated to a rematch, and if so, is it at 175 ? Thank you.

I'm not sure I've ever heard of a challenger getting a rematch clause. It's possible?
