Cotto was forced to drain to 144 for that fight.

The toughest opponent of his career in his opinion.
You really expect Floyd to DIMINISH his win against Cotto by saying Cotto was past his prime?? CAUSE HE WAS.

Listen kid. Fact Cotto started his professional career AFTER his 125th or so fight as an amateur.
Fact Cotto met Mayweather after his 38 th or so PROFESSIONAL fight.
That’s about 162 fights BEFORE MEETING MAYWEATHER. That my dear son is FAR PAST HIS PRIME.

In your opinion… you fail to realise your opinion is far from factual.

As I keep telling you, on the subject of what Miguel Cotto had left I value the opinion of Floyd Mayweather a pro fighter who went 12 rounds with Cotto over some random dude on the internet.

Miguel Cotto was still a damn good fighter up until 2015. The fact he achieved what he did in those years and was competing with elite fighters like Floyd and Canelo PROVES that.

Cotto as an amateur had 125? fights. As a professional Cotto had 41? Fights.
He met Floyd after 158 fights? That my dear is past your prime. You would know this if you boxed or had half a brain. This isn’t an opinion sweetheart.

Mayweather fought better version of Cotto than Pacquiao did.

Pacquiao fought a drained version at 144.

Mayweather fought a strong 154 lbs version.

No. Canelo's best wins have been close and questionable decisions.

Floyd fans always say this. Floyd making cotto Look better doesn't mean cotto was. Just cos pac made cotto Look bad, doesn't mean that version of cotto wouldn't have beat floyd.a
Just because floyd made maiden a look like an elite ATG don't mean to say pac wouldn't have stopped Maida in 8 rounds

At the time 154 Cotto was a lot different than 145 Cotto, the 154 version would run over the 145 version, that's why Manny refused point blank to fight him at 154, actually, Manny refused to fight Cotto without a weight clause at any weight, same Cotto isn't it lol.

whos he actually beat? whats he done thats so great? i watched him against bivol and he looked like an undercard fighter, someone there for bivol to go 12 rounds with and get the heart rate up a bit. or was i meant to be impressed with him plodding around the ring hitting air and elbows?
