What weight division, does power become more universal? I.E There is a level of power that no fighter wants to take voluntary.

It is probably 168 pounds. Carl Froch at his peak inside or outside was a dangerous individual for anyone 'I am only using Froch as a example, because he has alluded to in interviews that he would not shy away from a street fight with another boxer' When he was a active fighter.

When James Toney was preparing to fight in the Heavyweight division. He used to continually state 'That he had fought better punchers, and better all around fighters in the lower weight divisions'.

James Toney unlike David Haye, Evander Holyfield or Usyk. Competed at Heavyweight, because he was out of condition and no longer wanted to train a certain way.

Still no Heavyweight ever decked him or knocked him out.

So the point I am making is, once you start getting around 168 pound division. The offensive power at the top levels, in around these divisions become more universally effective.

Note: But anyone that knows anything about boxing. These fighters day in day out, train to perfect and maximize the damage they can inflict through punching. Pauli Malignaggi compared to a unprepared everyday person 'Has dangerous levels of power'. Boxers train to punch, all top level boxers can punch with dangerous power.

      175. They can really punch since 175. Then CW and HW become peak point.

        Id say that’s about right

There’s videos of Fury letting small fighters unload their hardest body shots on him multiple times to no effect. You would say after a certain point, maybe as you’re past middleweight that those shots would start to be felt.

Of course there’s fighters in small divisions that hit very hard, relatively speaking. But I’d say a middleweight or super middleweight has enough power to have at least some effect on any bigger fighter with the right shot. That’s going by what a lot of fighters say.
Fury is perf example of there are no feather fists after a certain size.

Far from a gifted puncher but his power due to his sheer giant size allowed him to DESTROY Deontay

Only in women boxing there is not power at any weight.

Imagine how far Paulie Malignaggi would of gone if he had decent power.

I say Heavyweight because the fighters are a lot wider, stronger, slower and easier to hit than any other weight division. Besides, most heavyweights lack both the conditioning and stamina to box and circle the ring for 12 rounds without getting tired.

A 105 pound guy can produce devastating power. There's a whole lot more that goes into a powerful punch besides weight.

No fighter is going to let another individual, let alone another trained professional, land a flush shot on their face regardless of weight.

Power matters at all weights for the most part if the power is being thrown at someone uncontested. But no one let's someone just tee off on them with 8oz or 10oz with a complete disregard for defense.

Now durability for the most part does increase with weight with all other things being equal.

depends, hearns we got to see move up a lot and he knocked out cruiserweights as a former welter so his power really carried with him

i dont know if there are more examples of someone really carrying their power like that.
