      Why not?

You've heard Bozy Ennis essentially saying Boots is not ready for Ortiz and he wants the fight marinated properly. Three years minimum.

Would be a good learning fight for Ortiz, as I believe it was for Ennis.

It's a god comparison fight between Ennis and Ortiz since they won't be fighting any time soon. See if Ortiz will do better or worse.

If this guy was running around all night from Boots Ennis it would be worse versus Vergil Ortiz. Unlike Boots, Vergil will actually catch him and put him out

Not really as Vergil has already fought his "Karen" in McKinson. Both awkward fighters who got/get on thier bike looking to play spoiler. Ortiz was able to adjust ,cut the ring off, broke down and eventually KO'd McKinson by going to his body after rd 3.

No reason to regress and fight someone the level of Karen to gauge where the two are at when its clear, after Ennis fight with Karen, Vergil is the more polished fighter,at the moment. Once Vergil beats Stanionis, the" Karens" shouldn't be anywhere near his radar.

GBP don't have many fighters to feed Ortiz, who is restless when he's inactive as seen in one of his videos. This would be a welcome news for Hoya.

In contrast, Ennis got a bunch waiting to be picked, Butaev, Crowley, Kavliauskas... Yet he prefers to sit around and wait.

There's a handful of fighters available for Ortiz like Stanionis next,Rocha,Cobbs with this whole defamation back story now and then the potential Crawford signing? Players and matchups seem to be falling in place nicely for Vergil at Welter.

As far as Ennis, yea I'm not sure why they haven't matched him up tougher with the likes of the guys you mentioned, certainly doesn't help his development.
