Sad that NSB doesn't want to see Vergil Ortiz get rotated for 12 rounds while swinging at air.

Come on people, Karen is now the benchmark for which fighters suck at cutting off the ring.

No reason to regress and fight someone the level of Karen to gauge where the two are at when its clear, after Ennis fight with Karen, Vergil is the more polished fighter,at the moment. Once Vergil beats Stanionis, the" Karens" shouldn't be anywhere near his radar.
Vergil beating Stanionis is NOT a given even if Vergil is the favorite on PAPER. Stanionis is not exactly a gimmee.

Stanionis is absolutely not a "gimme" i agree. Guy has a ton of heart and can **** no doubt but I believe Vergil to just be at a level Stanionis is not which is by no means a slight at Stan.

Ppl think because Karen ran from Boots, he would run from Virgil. He might not run from Virgil. Its a different fight. Virgil can punch but he's not elusive. So Karen will find it much easier to land on Ortiz and might decide to stand there and kick his ass. When u fight Ortiz back, u can hit him, and if u hit him right, u can hurt him. Ortiz can be knocked out. He was almost outta there when he fought Mean Machine. Karen isn't an easy fight, although he ran from Boots. Don't sleep on Karen. He has a solid chin. It's just that early in the fight, he realized how fast, slick and strong Boots was, and decided his best bet was to run for his life. But Ortiz isn't the same package as Boots. He's strong but easier to hit. I think Karen beats Ortiz to be honest. And so might Stanionis. We'll see soon enough though

Not comparable IMO. McKinson was more stationary and actually made an attempt to mount and offense, whilst Karen came into the ring with his Pumas on.

It's boxing. Anyone can be hit, especially in a 12 round fight. Jaron "Boots' came into the fight thinking it would be a walk in the park and would execute Mike Tyson killer moves.

                  Wrong!!!

Unlike Ennis Ortiz can cut off the ring and unlike Ennis he's not a one dimensional head hunter.

Mckinson came to o exactly what Karen did except Ortiz is a more complete fighter to Ennis. Ortiz brok him down little by little body head and stopped him.

Karen can play with Ennis but he won't be able to do that with Ortiz.

McKinson did attempt to be more offensive than Karen early but got on his bike soon after. Lets not act like this was Tagoe in there for Ennis either though.
Karen countered with a lefthook in there followed by successful follow up punches more often than not, then moved laterally to reset what Ennis was attempting to do. Ennis had his opportunities but couldn't capitalize on them.

Who attempted to be more offensive wasnt really my point either . The point is,Ortiz was able to adjust, started throwing his jab, lefthooks to the body of McKinson to slow him down while EEnnison the other hand just kept head hunting while miserably flailing away with leaping lefthooks and nothing else. It didnt matter if it was Karen or McKinson,Ennis was lost while Ortiz made adjustmens. Simple as that.
