My guess is he's going to sit it out for the rest of the year. He'll wait for the Spence/Thurman outcome. It's too much risk to take ANY fight based on his team's track record. Karen is his first and last fight for the year, imho.

Any hope of seeing Ennis take Roiman Villa as a stay-busy fight next?

31 bouts on his record, Stanionis got 15 in comparison, Ortiz got 19. If you go backwards, there's no Butaev on Ennis'record, no Kavaliauskas... Why even mention Spence or Crawford here? Saying he's being avoided is a fantasy. Look at this guy:

Obvious? really? you know that lol. You don't know anything about that... Neither do I, the difference between us is I look at common sense.

Yeah, that's the most likely scenario that will play out in the Ennis camp just like last year until he gets criticized for being too inactive and be forced to look for any fight again at the closing of the year. I see another huge gap in between his last and next fight. Seems predictable. But we could be wrong. I also see Showtime's Espinoza tired of taking the heat and do something drastic.

            - - Needs a proper pair of Lucheses to fight in instead of cement.

Conor Benn is suspended so, get him to fight Ortiz Jr.

Ortiz's opponent kavala-whataever had his appendix burst so, may as well get in the ring with a live opponent for once.

The way Ennis fought that last fight would get him bricked against Spence.

Spence pretty much has no choice.

Crawford seems to be firmly out of the picture for anyone but himself as he has created a moat around himself that prevents the Spence fight from happening.

Spence beats Thurman. He has to fight Ennis to keep the IBF strap. So, he'd either move up and quit 147 or fight Ennis. Seeing how Crawford has no indication of fighting Spence.

I can almost guarantee you that Ennis’s people want NOTHING to do with either Spence or Crawford after his last fight. EASY WORK for either Spence or Crawford.

Spence always find a way out, the other side of the street, his side of the street.
