These so-called boxing fans need to stop parroting Alvarez's claim that Benavidez hasn't "earned" a fight with him. The sanctioning bodies that awarded him his belts are supposed to determine that and order a fight accordingly.

The boxing rankings are ******. They're exactly why Canelo can fight John Ryder. It's silly because there's no consistency across the alphabet organizations, and they all have randos ranked highly with other top guys totally left out. Rankings are a joke.

Sure, Benavidez got stripped… but he never lost his title in the ring. He’s effectively an unbeaten, uncrowned champion at super middleweight.
He’s better than a fair few of the guys Canelo has faced in the last few years and a lot of fans want to see if his volume punching is too much for Canelo.
I’d certainly prefer to see that fight than Ryder!

Yes bumavidez has talent. Yes his resume is lacking. Yes he’s better than some of Canelos opponents. Take a number. If he was making noise through his performances he’ll eventually get a big fight

Its better to pop for ******* than clenbuterol is all I'm saying... Canelo don't want that smoke, he doesn't want to deal with all the combinations Benavidez will throw at him especially to the body. Nobody has really attacked Canelo's body like Benavidez potentially would, and we'd see Canelo blowing after only 5 rounds or so. Canelo and Reynoso KNOW this.

Theres a reason ginger carefully planned his move to 168 when Benavidez was out of the picture. Now that hes the interim title holder, we know el culero gordo Sulaiman wont force ginger to fight him either. Even more of a reason to root for Bivol to break gingers face in the rematch at 168. We know Bivol WILL fight everyone.
