Joyce isn't mentioned for obvious reasons: 1) too dangerous, 2) not enough of a following and 3) rival promotion. There are plenty of other options that don't present these issues. Joe might not like it but (neither may some fans) but it's a reality.

When you've set the scene to fight a nobody next (let's wait for this one!) and then talk about the goal of upping the opposition to a 'massive' summer fight at Wembley Stadium' with washed up Whyte then one thing IS certain that you are NOT serious about fighting the best .This is another mugging the sweet Caroline's are being set up for as now it's completely clear Joshua /Hearn are still out for what soft chined gun shy Joshua has done ALL his career and only fight fighters he his a big favourite to beat. He was favourite to beat little Usyk first time out and given how well he got beat wasn't in the rematch BUT had no choice but to take it . Joshua was lucky back when he won the title as the title was there to be bought from Charles Martin who has done nothing since.Be clear, there are much better fighters around now Fury, Joyce , Wilder and for me Joshua would even struggle with Anderson the prospect. Expect weak opposition all the way as he will only fight the above when and if he's absolutely forced to do so. I lost interest in Anthony Joshua a long time ago , he's just a money making exercise for Hearn and now, unfortunately his greedy self.

That's literally why Crawford got mocked.

The reason Fury gets away with it is because everyone knows he's full of bs. You won't know if Fury keeps his promise until he's in the ring.

AJ has fanboys and has gotten praise for years for "being the top dog" yet he has shown that he is a coward.
I disagree, AJ is far from a coward.

He has fought some guys when it mattered, when they were still top guys.

As a Wilder fan, I will admit AJ wanted Wilder but Wilder wanted 50-50 without having proved himself as a PPV seller yet. So he kind of priced himself out.

With Fury, we all know what happened there. Fight was gonna happen, Wilder executed his rematch clause for the trilogy. Took Fury to court to stop the AJ fight.

Otherwise, AJ has fought the guys he was supposed to fight when he was supposed to fight them. From Wlad to Parker, to Whyte and Usyk, Ruiz. He fought some live dogs in Martin, Breazale. AJ put his 0 on the line vs other guys with 0’s.

It is 100%, totally unfair to call him a coward. And btw I think Fury, Wilder and Joyce all KO him. If he’s really a coward he should steer clear of those 3. But he ain’t no coward, he’ll fight either Fury or Wilder after a tuneup.

Not only would AJ not fight Joyce, he wouldn't dare rematch the guy Joyce knocked out in his last fight as Parker would batter him also!

Seriously…why would AJ squander two other options by taking a fight vs the le$$er fighter who btw is obviously also good?

And since when did Fury and Wilder become cherrypicks? Those are both fights AJ could lose.

AJ could lose against all 3…Fury, Wilder, Joyce…so why not take a tuneup and fight the one that will get you the most money? It’s like AJ is doing what Crawford is doing and avoiding anyone who could beat him.

AJ has Crawford-style options…for example Luis Ortiz, or Parker II, or Ruiz III. Let’s not act like foregoing Joyce to fight Fury or Wilder is some cowardly move.
Exactly what's wrong with alot of boxer's today, buying easy belts & defending against can's & shot old men whilst name dropping & ducking the top name's all along.
Aj is a perfect example he's 33 or 34 & never faced Fury or Wilder while they've gone on to have the biggest trilogy since Bowe Holyfield in the 90s.

If Aj were to fight Joyce it would be the first time i have any respect for him since Aj & Wilder started avoiding each other to milk the belts against cans & shot old men in 18.
Joyce peaked against Parker, he looked unstoppable but possibly beatable by a great boxer with enough movement, footwork, a jab, ring control & the tank to do it. That isn't Aj.

Didn't aj stop Joyce in the 1st round in the ameaturs? I really like Joyce and rate him but I don't fancy him to against any of the knock out artist in wilder or aj, I want to watch him fight fury before them fights because I feel he will only get koed by the other 2

Joyce would have to eat the biggest bombs he has ever taken as a pro and if he makes it through then he would quite likely win as his engine the best I have seen in HW. However this isn't a fight Joyce should take until he has had his chance at the belts since his style means his peak as a fighter will be very short and fighting the biggest punchers in the sport isn't healthy for him. Joyce vs Fury would be great if Fury vs Usyk doesn't happen. In a 12 round fight Joyce would also be a very bad matchup for Usyk who has to move a lot to avoid Joyce. Even if Joyce chases him for 8 rounds without success in the last 4 he will be landing and facing Joyce combinatios when you're already exhausted isn't something anyone can survive imo.

Juggernaut should be trying everything in his power to get a fight with either AJ or Wilder.

Fury is a terrible style match-up as he knows how to box and use movement to frustrate the hell out of Joyce.
