All of these guys relied on their athleticism and footspeed, but only Loma gets the excuses.
Loma’s been beaten twice unexpectedly.. that doesn’t happen to elites. And if it does. They bounce back. Loma-Haney will probably be a shutout.. would’ve been a shutout years ago also.

Not bad, so he needs to stop stalling the fight as if he's the guy holding the belts. The undisputed champion Haney, says that he wants the fight in March, and neither one of them have been in the ring since October. Plenty of time, but stallling nonetheless.

Loma’s getting an opportunity to be undisputed.. despite a shakey performance against a 16/1 underdog. You giving him credit for accepting a fight for undisputed? LOL.
Do we need to give the likes of Bud and Uysk who are the same age and actually earned to fight for undisputed the same applaud?

When you face someone who out weighs you, has the height and reach advantage then start talking. Also any self proclaimed defensive master by fans that has to clinch the majority of times to stop his opponents offense isn't as skilled as he thinks. Haney being a major culprit of that tactic.

Shakur beating Valdez was definitely a better win than Walters. Walters was coming off a draw and a 1 year layoff.

hes just lucky he has name value still & both with same promoters but most people give him almost zero chance so yeah i do give him some credit for taking the fight, why not, if a bit lucky to get the shot

Time exposes all and Linares and Campbell were nothing to hit home about. 135 was weak back then..The current crop of lightweights are much better. Linares, Campbell, Pedraza, Commey were all big guys - just as big as Haney and bigger than Shakur. All I’m hearing is excuses.. Loma isn’t no Pac or Floyd. Never was and never will be
                  Yes he was.

                    some boxing knowledge!
if you have a problem with clinching I suggest you don’t watch Salido-Loma back

Knowledgeable boxing fans aren’t buying these excuses.
Problem is the current crop of lightweights are way more skilled than the guys Loma was fighting 3-5 years ago. Hence why Loma looks ‘special’ against guys like Commey and Nakhatani.
