Stevenson also said in another article that Loma is getting old and slowing down. But when fans say the same thing, a certain sensitive group of fans would interpret it in the most extreme sense. Like the other group is already making excuses.

Haney too. These guys talk like they're God's gift. No, it's just your time to come up right now. Boxing is all about timing and the shoe will be on the other foot one day.

Nobody was begging to get in there with Lomachenko yet now he's starting to look old and faded they're all on him like vultures. It's embarrassing.
Yeah that’s just a lie. You can go back as far as 2019 when both Stevenson & Haney were calling out Lomachenko - they saw something beatable in him, just as Teo did a year later at 22 years of age. Let’s not make up false narratives because it sounds good.. it’s all on record

Zou Shiming also won two Olympic golds.. but got iced in the pros. It’s a different ball game.

He needs to move back down to 130 or even 126 and fight against fighters his own size. I’d give him little to no chance of beating naturally bigger guys like Stevenson or Haney. He barely beat Ortiz.
he’ll beat naturally bigger guys like Nakhatani, Campbell, Linares. but he won’t beat naturally bigger slick guys.. he moved up from 126 because there wasn’t any great fights.

I've been watching boxing for 42 years, and I boxed for 4 years, and did marital arts for 8 years, and Loma is the most skilled fighter I've ever seen, and what I loved is that he could've easily boxed people's socks off defensively but chose to be aggressive and relentless and pound the soul out of all those dudes. Shakur beat a physically out atched Valdez, I didn't see such "great skill" just a very good fighter beating a guy who was tailor made for him. He may prove special down the road but he hasn't proven anything yet IMO, other than a big mouth and a criminal punk mindset.
Most skilled fighter you’ve ever seen? Pagahah.

                  Pernell Whittaker
                  Floyd Mayweather
                  Roy Jones

                  + others

All mustve competed in another sport. Shakur would’ve beaten Loma at 130 and would beat him at 135 any day of the week.

Loma is very talented and VERY OLD. 111 fights and 4 losses. Been fighting since 2004. Theirs a difference between lack of skills and old age. These kids don’t know the difference BUT THEY WILL.
