He’s right. You’re always updating your resume. Crawford at 35 decided to fight on BLK and by all accounts it did horrible numbers and no doubt lost a lot of money.

Now when he goes to Haymon he’s in a weaker position. If I’m Al I’m asking for the PPV receipts and that’s the starting point for negotiations. BLK may be fine lighting $10 million on fire but Al isn’t doing that.

Even with Top Rank and ESPN behind him Bud wasn’t doing any numbers. He went off on his own and we all see what level of a draw he is now.

He supposedly got paid but it’s not what you make it’s what you bring back in this game.

Let’s stick with Boots. If you are truly a boxing fan who follows the sport then you would know that Boots already said he wanted Crawford. Boots also questioned the logic of choosing Avanesyan who is ranked well below Boots and unknown.
Boots said he would have accepted the same money given to Avanesyan.
Lastly, Boots was available. He has said in multiple interviews that he was going to wait on the winner of Crawford-Spence because he understands the magnitude of that fight. It’s the reason he did not petition the sanctioning bodies to force the two guys to fight him.

Please Spence out of this. It seems you are desperately trying to justify or defend the actions of Crawford.

I checked the article again. At no time did the article mention Boots. This article is about Crawford and Spence. Which is why I posted my initial response that Spence should have jumped on the $25 million guaranteed offer plus 20% backend. You questioned whether the offer was real but you now say you agree.

I don't know why BLK Prime chose Avanesyan over Boots. My guess is that they didn't want a possible upset affecting the Crawford-Spence fight, and THEY are the people offering the $25 million for the bigger fight. The main thing is that Crawford wanted to fight in 2022, Spence's team wanted to fight Crawford in 2023, so Crawford got in a quick fight before the bigger fight.

I try to stay neutral as much as I can unless I prefer one boxer over the other. So both Crawford and Spence have accused each other of lying. Spence story so far makes more sense. The $25 million makes no sense and all Bud had to do was be transparent about it. And then there is Boots. Had Bud gone after Boots then there would be no reason to doubt him because Boots would be the best fighter on Bud’s 147 resume.
I just didn’t want to get fixated on that fight hence my stance on Boots.

But you hit the nail on the head. There is a huge possibility that Boots will upset Crawford and put a kibosh on the Spence fight hence the Avanesyan choice.
I believe Boots will not only beat Crawford, he stops him late rounds.

Don't know what to believe anymore. It's been established that Bud Crawford accepted no guarantee money. Yet fight still didn't happen. And this guy is talking about education.
