Maybe you should do some research as fear or ducking was not the reason my friend
By coincidence I just posted the REAL REASON, and the staged PR stunt of garbaging the Belt.

Bow never ducked anyone in his life. A great fighter.

these guys have a totally different mentality
Yes 40 year old Klitschko whose mental processes had certainly slowed down along with his reaction time.
You don't know anything about Bowe, the belt throwaway was a PR stundt arranged with the reporters. There was a lot more to it, which I have spelled out. Not your fault , I was around then and the real details were actually published but most on here never read them.

Bowe is on record admitting he ducked Lewis and later regretted the decision to do so.

The only reason he refused to fight Lewis was because Lewis was allegedly "pulling a Crawford" - not accepting his B-Side demands, and Bowe wasn't going to be forced into the fight. But Bowe knew that was a ****** decision.

Bowe has said a few different things, but we KNOW that he was not too bright. He was changeable, very much so. The REAL reasons I have already given , they have been documented and published before, which is where I got them.

He NEVER ducked anyone EVER. Amazing how guys today can't see past their noses and never know the REAL stories behind what happened to whoever.

Like the REAL story of Corrales and Mayweather, when Corrales was a dead man walking. He spent all the last 3 weeks before the fight in the sweatbox for hours a day, trying to losewhatt his body refused to let go, including that very morning for several hours.. He NEEDED the money badly for lawyers, and was going to jail right after the fight, his life ruined , his family gone and MORE. Mayweather would never have taken a chance with the REAL Corrales, the killer, who, he knew well had already gone up to lightweight. before he dangled the money Diego desperately needed. He did a 20 min. video about it before the fight, as it was questioned by boxing experts at the time. He went into that fight knowing he had no chance, as did all experts who saw him being helped to walk to the weigh in, which he'd already failed twice that morning. ..

There are lots of stories behind what seem simple events that only an acute observer a researcher would know

...yeah, your credibility is halfway shot, because Corrales was a HUGE favorite going into that fight. Nobody expected Floyd to do what he did.

If you're going to go there, you need to be consistent and talk about how Oscar tried to do Manny.

whereas wallin could close the distance on Fury you seem to think bowe would be terrified to close the distance and just eat 1-2s all night with no success
              You're a funny guy
We'll never know if Wallin is on Bowes level because they'll never fight. Wallin is a great boxer and he got ragrolled by Fury. Fury has mostly fought brawlers and beat them all pretty easily and fought one of the best boxer punchers in history and outboxed him.

It's not a stretch to think with Fury's IQ and movement that he could take out a lot of these old heads. With a decent 1-2, hook, and a great uppercut for a tall man with long lanky arms he has all the attributes to give amyone trouble.

I just returned now to straighten out that misinformation in your post about Bowe ducking Lewis. Bowe was as brave as a lion and never ducked anyone.

What happened was that there was a mutual hatred and permanent beef between Rock Newman Bowe's manager, and Lewis' manager. Also both he and Bowe resented that Bowe had to fight the most successful fighter on record at that time, unbeaten Evander Holyfield, supposedly for the Title, Then Lewis suddenly was inserted, and was to fight Donovan Ruddock. So the Holyfield fight was only a "semi".

Ruddock was a fighter who, just two fights before he fought Lewis had in the previous 18 months had 2 fights with Tyson, been badly KOd and then badly UD'd. Also had been KO'd earlier by a comparative nonentity David Jaco. In other words he'd lost 2 of his last 4 fights.

Both Newman and Bowe felt that it was an undeserved fight and the WBC was playing politics with them., making difficulties. So they STAGED A PUBLICITY STUNT, of throwing the WBC Belt in the garbage and walking away . The reporters were primed and Bowe retrieved the belt right after the cameras stopped rolling..

I just edited because I forgot that Lewis had, around the same time, been KO'd by Oliver McCall, which added insult to Injury for Bowe.

THAT'S the REAL story boys. So Believe it, and revise your opinions. Bowe finished his career with a single loss in 44 fights, in the trilogy with Holyfield. He KO'd Holyfield also., He had 33 KOs in 43 wins.
Nice write up man I certainly couldn't have wrote it as good as you

Outstanding true knowledge will fall on deaf ears around here

Notice the replies you've received don't counter a single fact you've pointed out

Stay safe and keep educating, there will be someone out there who reads this with a willingness to learn that all fights past present and future are not as clear cut as the media gives the casuals

The boxing "hardcores" who use this website but refuse to open their eyes are stuck in their narrow minded perceptions probably due to some ocd or adhd symptoms that they dont fully understand they have

uhh Bowe would've steamrolled 40 year old chinny Wlad. although lewis/bowe not happening was a shame, bowe felt he was getting ****ed over by the purse.
