[QUOTE=Silence;n31693270]Beating a blown up fake 175 lber shouldn't make you FOTY. The real winner is Inoue. He beat HoF Donaire in 2 at his best weight as a smaller man. He toyed with Butler and finally became undisputed. Please delete this thread and update as Inoue.
That wouldnt suit the ass kissing journalists that keep hyping the cash cow. They gotta keep making it out to be a big deal, an upset to cover their asses.

Don't even talk about Zurdo. He is unskilled hypejob and didn't know how to use his size.

Beating a 40 yr old Donaire is a better win than beating the reigning P4P champ?!? Schooling a 42-0 multi-division champion is less impressive than beating a complete unknown INTERIM world champion?!?

What is more important than beating the P4P champ is in which situation you beat the P4P champ. Canelo saw himself as God that night and gave a terrible performance.

        - No combination punching.
        - No jabs.
        - Limited head movement.
        - Gassing out in 5.
        - Way above than his natural weight.
        - Injured left hand.
        - Mediocre training camp.

Basically Bivol beat a blown up and injured boxer who hadn't a good gameplan. In other words, Canelo beat himself, not Bivol. And, Bivol still lost 3-4 rounds. Canelo's brutal uppercuts would sleep him in 5 if he hadn't good chin. Bivol is good textbook boxer and has gifted legs. That's all. Far from being special.

As P4P, Butler is much more skilled fighter than Zurdo. Zurdo had all tools to beat Bivol like size, pressure, high output but tried to outbox him in middle of the ring like a fool.

Inoue beat a HoF in 2. F**king 2. He was 40 but he broke Inoue's orbital in the first fight. I think you guys forget the past in a short time.

Bivol is just a lucky guy who was in the right place in the right time. Nothing more.

Aww, salty canelo fans trying to find excuses and minimize Bivols win instead of acknowledging Canelo just wasn’t as good as Bivol and his mediocre competition leading into the fight masked Canelo’s flaws that bivol was skilled and tough to expose….. unlike the passive Brits Canelo had been feasting on. That wasn’t a different Canelo you saw in the ring, it was just a different level of opponent.

Bivol is the best figher in the world.

He beats p4p king Canelo, people say it is not even a great win.

He beat his unbeaten mandatory, a huge guy, people say it is nothing.

While Fury is praised for beating bums like Chisora and Whyte, or Wilder.

While Crawford is praised for beating the shadows of Brook and khan.

While Canelo is praised for beating 40 old GGG..

While Inoue is praised for beating 50 old Donaire.

Tank should have been fighter of the year for KOing Leo Santa Cruz, if beating smaller men is the criteria.

Man, I am sure you picked Canelo to beat Bivol easily before the fight.

                      Give the man some credit.
