And GGGroupies, like yourself, can't stand it when I put GGGeezer under that same microscope.

I wish I were around when GGG was prime !!!
If Biv is a cherry, GGG spent his entire prime fighting cherry pits.
And the GGGroupies would have been all wanky wanky.

    GGGeezer's entire career is Nelo.
He would fight him 10x if he could $$$$$$

Would MFers let Nelo HIDE behind that ''no one wanted to fight him ...'' lie ?!?!?

Bivol had every advantage against Canelo. The only reason the bookies had him as a favorite is because Bivol doesn't try to get you out of there, plus Canelo was expected to do more than he did, BUT, Bivol had every physical advantage. That's by definition NOT a cherrypick.
Canelo was confident he could beat Bivol based on his average last performances. Your reason for Bivol being the 5-1 underdog makes no sense. Just because he goes to a decision? if he was rated that highly it would not matter. 95% of the boxing community picked Canelo, and he was a massive favorite, that is basically proof Bivol was the cherry pick.

You really think Benavidez would be 5-1 underdog vs Canelo? lol. Get serious. Bivol was seen as the soft option, a basic euro ABC fighter, which is what he is.

People who had the naievity to claim it was a cherrypick in the first place got it wrong but take no responsibility for getting it wrong ha ha

Benavidez is 'eye test'. He's beaten nobody that matters.

By that logic, Saunders would have been a favorite against Canelo, but he wasn't. You know why?

                      Saunders had NO advantage.

Benavidez has one advantage - work rate.

Golovkin had work rate in two of three fights and still couldn't convince three judges he was truly better than Canelo.

Canelo was only considered favorite because of what he was EXPECTED to do that he didn't do. It happens.

When Manny fought Horn, he was EXPECTED to throw over a thousand punches and overwhelm The Hornet. He failed - the judges weren't sold he was better.

Same with Mayweather - Manny was EXPECTED to overwhelm Floyd. Instead, the judges watched him fight tentatively after eating jabs.

Bum****a was EXPECTED to KO Steve Rolls. He failed.

Broner was EXPECTED to at least outbox Santiago. He failed.

Cobbs was EXPECTED to KO Rocha. He failed.

Mikey was EXPECTED to deal with Sandor Martin. He failed.

Teo was EXPECTED to KO Kambosos. He failed.

Expectation is where the thought of "favorites" comes from. If the fighter doesn't show up, it is what it is.
