huh? Obviously the choices have to be viable ones, not literal nobodies. Out of all the offers on the table Benavidez/ Charlo, and Bivol /40 year old GGG, its clear the former package was more dangerous unless your a canelo fan boy. Bivol is not a dangerous fighter, he barely beat craig richards the fight before Canelo.
You just got done watching Crawford show you a perfect example of a true cherrypick.
Bivol had every advantage against Canelo. The only reason the bookies had him as a favorite is because Bivol doesn't try to get you out of there, plus Canelo was expected to do more than he did, BUT, Bivol had every physical advantage. That's by definition NOT a cherrypick.

Canelo saw Bivol as the weakest link at 175, and risking a loss at 175 was more forgiving since he doesn’t lose his titles at 168 and he was moving up in weight again. His recent insistence that he won’t fight Mexican fighters is a bad look for a guy who is running out of fights fans actually want to see. Notice he isn’t talking about Beterbiev.
In 2023 he needs to fight either Benavidez, Charlo, or rematch Bivol. Couldn’t care less about Ryder, and Andrade is like watching paint dry.Comment
