I'm too young to remember Buchanan or Conteh but remember all the top British fighters from the early 80s to today. Froch wouldn't be in my top 10 based on ability, but he would be in my top 10 based on achievement. I think that tells its own story. Froch over-achieved. He seriously brought it.

He knocked out George Groves in front of 80,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium. Lest we forget.

            He would fight absolutely anybody.

Big, brass balls on Froch. Some of the prima donnas today could learn a thing or two from him.

            Like Jose "Baby Nuts" Ramirez.

When he dies, they should probably put his chin in the HoF as a separate exhibit.

This is correct, although against Arthur Abraham he was wary of his power and kept him on the end of his underrated jab all night long. Probably his best pure boxing performance.

English, British (Lonsdale belt outright), Commonwealth, IBF, WBA, WBC. Carl won just about every prestigious title availible to him, in fact the only 2 he missed out on were the Ring magazine & European (EBU). So yes a very well deserved honour!..

Yeah my issue is not necessarily with Froch, it’s with who he’s going in ahead of. I think Benn is borderline as well but if you’re putting Froch in you have to put him in too IMO. I feel like the standard of what makes a HOF’er has been considerably lowered for fighters who competed post 2000.
