I remember telling RJJ-94-02=GOAT years ago that Froch would be a HOF'er. Hate to say it, but...

Cong**** Carl! Job well done and great career
Without a doubt, he ended up being greater than Calzaghe with the better resumeComment

The same could be said about Ward and leaving just before the likes of Bivol and Beterbiev were truly coming through.
The key difference is Carl was 37 going on 38 and Ward had just turned 33...
If you want to be pedantic, they both deserve their slots in the HoF, we want to see fighters fight the fights and you can't deny either done that...
something that sadly can't be said about the modern era of fighters...Comment

A great fighter to watch - I think he is a borderline Hall of Famer. Since he is in, Kessler deserves to be there too: they were exactly at the same (high) level. Both, however, were a step down from Ward and Calzaghe.Comment

I was there that night , great night and true dismantling from underdog Carl....made even better with Hearn running into the ring before the fight had ended then running back out ...thank god the idiot was clothed!Comment

The guy fought home and away fighters win or lose .. true champ, not as good as Ward or Calazaghe but ducked no one and didn't hide ... now some of these other world champs don't even own a passport.

I would have both Nigel Benn and Eubank Sr in before Carl Froch - more entertaining - Benn was one of the most must-see boxers I can remember - only prime Mike Tyson was more compelling - I'm not quite old enough to have seen Ali in the sixtiesComment

I'll never forget how you could hear Carls wife over 80 thousand screaming fans in Wembley. If ever a voice was worse than nails on a chalkboard it's hers . She was gorgeous though and probably still is.Comment
