The man sleeps on a bed of $100 mil and every British woman wants to suck his cock... he's got no hunger for the sport.

Meanwhile Tyson Fury is training like a maniac because if he stops he'll turn suicidal. He's literally fighting to survive every day. No boxing, no life.

So sad, too bad, don't be mad when U be glad he got peanuts to live on...

So much for Joshua vs. Wilder in 2023.

Eddie doesn't see a Wilder fight as a "smart plan" if Joshua wants to become champion again. That would be "brave" but not smart.

So being "brave" isn't on the Joshua agenda, apparently.

Wilder will be 38 in 2023. How freaking old does Wilder have to be for Joshua to fight him?

Dempsey, Tunney, Sharkey, Baer, Louis, Marciano, Patterson, Frazier, Norton, Lewis were all retired by 38. Ali was a dottering 38 when he lost to Holmes.

But a nearly 38-year-old, twice KOed Wilder is still too dangerous for Joshua?

Eddie Hearn on Anthony Joshua: "The plan now is to rebuild him to become a three-time heavyweight world champion. It's all very well being brave, listening to Twitter, going out and fighting Deontay Wilder [next]. But there has to be a plan, a smart plan."

          - - Y give a serial thug who already ducked AJ several times before, Y give him a career payday he don't deserve?

He already got a cheap statue for the people to pull down at a future date after he and his toadies turn gray. Let the poor boy fight a real Man like Andy Ruiz, the only heavy willing and able to fight AJ for his American Debut.

            Serial thug?

One is married, with kids, attended college, has never served time, who is in line for yet another heavyweight title shot.

The other is a mid-30s, unmarried man, who has been in prison for selling drugs, who tosses other peoples' belts out of the ring when he loses and threatens kids who made fun of him online, who has gone back home to be a domestic-level fighter to engage in non-title bouts against guys he's already fought before to try to relive his glory days.

Anthony Joshua is no longer in the title picture.

Fury and Usyk will sign to fight twice. Wilder and Ruiz are fighting in an eliminator to get the winner. Hrgovic and Joyce have the sanctioning bodies behind them.

Joshua has fallen back to being a domestic level British heavyweight. He isn't relevent on the world stage at this point. There are a half-dozen guys or more in the Queue ahead of him.

Wilder would be doing JOSHUA A FAVOR if they fought. Wilder is in line ahead of him.

But, as Hearn says, that would be "BRAVE" on Joshua's part. And they aren't looking to be "brave."

Wake me up when Anthony Joshua's hometown builds a statue of him.

The fight never happened, so who the f*** cares? You guys have been having this same argument for like 4 years now. Neither of you guys have any proof, you’re just choosing who to believe when in reality they’re all liars.

I do believe Team Wilder wanted the fight more than Team Joshua but all those supposed “offers” were blatantly PR, you’d have to naive or ****** to believe otherwise. Neither side did anywhere near enough to make that fight, they were both content just milking their cash cows for as long as possible. Actions speak louder than words.
Yup... There seems a contingent of Joshua fans that just want to somehow impress upon others the belief that Joshua was ducked by Wilder.
Then, one gets into tweets, what constitutes an "offer", etc. Does anyone know what, if any, Wilder made to AJ in a tweet (or otherwise)?

I don't like to be one of those who come into a thread topic with "who cares!!" I mean... no one is twisting arms to post lol, but something DubbleChin alludes to is very relevant here: Wilder made a great decision at the time (crystal ball, or not)... Nothing is preventing him and Joshua from fighting now, with the exception of the usual suspects... the so called "promoters" who would have both men continue to fight dreck and neither up and commers, nor each other.

Which one is the thug? who has the police record? You are ridiculous sometimes... Most times really.

Depends on how you want to look at it. Seems like a large majority of boxing fans on this site would pick Wilder to KO Joshua. They say Joshua is timid, has a glass chin and Wilder is the biggest puncher in history. If that's the case Wilder obviously would be too dangerous.

Imo there is a more realistic way to look at it. Joshua has a promoter and management team. They look at things from a business perspective. Having a couple of easier wins makes sense financially as it gives them paydays. It makes sense for Joshua's mindset and for him to settle with his new team and make improvements. It also helps build up a fight with a top opponents. Their stock would be raised and a fight would be bigger if they're coming of impressive wins instead of losses. It is probably the smart thing to do.
