How can people say this is a smokescreen? Of course Pacquiao is going to go to the body, why wouldn't he? He always does and this fight will be no different. He's not going to try and go downstairs when he's in close quarters, he'll dart in and out with the left to the midsection.

right uppercut from Pac when Cotto starts to throw the left hook to the body, then a right hook to the head.

Cotto feint to the head with the left and then a left hook to the body as Pac counters with with right and left jabs and straights.

Dude you obviously don't know ****, how in the hell you gonna have a southpaw throw a right upper cut, and leave himself expose to get hit with COTTO's signature punch openly(the left hook). The proper way from a southpaw stance is for PACQUIAO to time COTTO's left hook, by side stepping to the left with his left foot at the sametime throwing his left uppercut, with his right hand protecting his chin and elbows possibly negating some of the power from a left hook to the body (watch the ZAB JUDAH/COTTO fight) As for Cotto, he throws a blinding right jab to the face, as the opponent bring their guard up, he squares up to throw a left hook to the body. You got you lefts and your rights all mixed up...What PACQUIAO needs to do is box, like he did to DLH, plus he needs to attack the body and try to expose COTTO's chin with uppercuts, cause I know that COTTO will be expecting the left and right hooks. As long as PACQUIAO boxes on his feet, he will do just fine, if he gets MACHISMO and squares up against COTTO, he will definetly lose.

To punch to Cotto's body, he'll have to leave his own body open for return fire. Pac is a good body puncher, but he's never been hit by a powerful Cotto left hook to the ribs. Cotto doesn't like body shots, Mosley and Margo both worked his body and he faded late. I think his boxing against Clottey was more based on the cut. So many factors in this fight.

On his lost to Morales, i believed Pacquiao was hitting Morales to the body and you can see EM was getting hurt. This was around to the body.
