Pacquiao Plans To Target Miguel Cotto's Body Early On

Trainer Freddie Roach sees a flaw in Miguel Cotto. He doesn't think the Puerto Rican star can take body punches. Manny Pacquiao challenges Cotto for his WBO welterweight title on November 14 in Las Vegas. Roach has studied some of Cotto's fights and saw that he doesn't like to get hit to the body. He's right. Cotto don't like it to the body. That's how Tony broke him down. Cotto also said in an interview that Quintana hurt him pretty bad to the body.

I noticed that Roach has Manny working on uppercuts alot for this fight also. I would say the uppercut from the southpaw stance is something Freddie seen in the Judah fight cos Manny is flat out throwing uppercuts on the pads.

That's a perfect strategy...for Cotto. Manny working on the body will undeniably leave him open for head shots, and Cotto's upstairs downstairs combination could capitilize on that mistake. Roach had better pull his head out of his ass and stick to what they do best, quick in and outs, and trying to stay out of the way of harm.

that guy has a granite chin like margarito. but the question is
can pacman execute the game plan goin to cotto,s body???

pacman is not good taking the fight inside, and i dont think
pacman can hurt cotto to the body either, hes not strong puncher
like margarito.

im a pacman fan, but i dont think he stand a chance winning this fight
with cotto, and even mayweather. Hes gonna toy pacman like he
did to marquez.

all bs aside ,manny is not a body puncher,thats a thing you have to master early on.thats not going to beat cotto.its like saying lets go toe to toe with a natural puncher when your a boxer.i'm on nobodys side but i think cottos got this one.
