lets not forget margarito had bricks in his gloves when he fought cotto!!!!! I guarantee that ****!!!!
Think about it,,, tony was gonna use plaster in his gloves to fight mosley (who was supposed to be over the hill),,, and didnt for a young undefeated lion like cotto???? Yeah ok..... Thats a load of ****!!
Cotto's handlers already stated in an interview they didnt watch margarito get his hands wrapped night of that fight,,,so he had the perfect oppurtunity. No one could convince me other wise...
    Anyway lets go manny!!!!!!

And I 2nd that *** Cheato stance... that rat b*astard doesn't deserve to ever get his license to box back. Coward ass cheater.
I guess he forgot about this when he was fighting Margarito.

Basic, smart boxing strategy, which will accomplish two things - Slow him down and sap power from his punches. I think Roach can devise a plan to stay away from a counter after Pac throws a few body punches. Pacman is a fast learner and adds new things each time out. I won't be surprised if we'll see a much improved, faster, stronger Pacquiao.

The only question mark now is - how well he takes Cotto's punches. I have a feeling he'll be fine. He hasn't been down in a long time. I think his chin is underrated.

I hear u but its rather silly to say Pac can do that..Tony is way bigger and puts endless pressure..Plus it took him 11 rounds and still wasnt able to fully put him out. so..

that guy has a granite chin like margarito. but the question is
can pacman execute the game plan goin to cotto,s body???

pacman is not good taking the fight inside, and i dont think
pacman can hurt cotto to the body either, hes not strong puncher
            like margarito.

im a pacman fan, but i dont think he stand a chance winning this fight
with cotto, and even mayweather. Hes gonna toy pacman like he
            did to marquez.
It's not even his chin really, its his stance and low center of gravity. When he get's clocked for example with a nasty uppercut - to which his is very susceptible as judah, mosley and even margacheato demonstrated - you can tell his head is kind of "gone" but he does not go down because of his perfect wide stance. Its also because of this very deliberate and quick (not fast) feet movement that he is so good at closing off the ring.

I'd say that body shots is the right way to go for Pac but if it becomes any kind of give and take for any extended period of time (im talking more than a few seconds) Pac is going to get hit hard and either go down or disengage due to pain. That's exactly when Cotto starts cutting the ring off and breaking you down. One of many reasons why I don't see Pac winning this.

Thank you man. I am so tired of people that say that Margacheato or Capetillo decided to use loaded gloves for Mosley for the first time. Its nonsensical. And I don't hate Margo for beating one of my favorite boxers, in fact I used to really, really like him until I realized he was a straight up cheater.

This is a "Great Fight" between to "Great Boxers" and as a boxing fan, we will be treated by this two gentlemen in a "Very Exciting and Hihgly Explosive Fight" unlike some dancers i watched last weekend pretending to be Boxer's. I'm a big fan of this two but i'm for manny all the way.

wrong again Roach, Pac should be going to hit his head not body

I don't know if the little man should attempt to get that deep in close to the stronger puncher in this fight. Especially with Cotto's wicked left hook that he can land upstairs quickly. He's caught Margarito over and over, Mosley over, and numerous other fights. He rocked Jennings badly with the left hook upstairs. While I do notice Cotto does stagger from body shots when he has been hurt, so has Pacquiao. Do they want to trade hooks to the body with one of the best when your disadvantaged? I wouldn't. Pac's only strategy has to be to keep moving nonstop providing constant shift in angles to throw off Cotto. Planting or squaring up will be disasterous.

PAC will use his foot and handspeed against Cotto. This will be a tactical fight for him. Just like when he fought Oscar, mark my word.
