I'd like to see this. Partly to see Martin against a higher level guy and partly because Id like to see Ortiz fight again, to gauge his fight against Loma better.

I’ve never watched Martin fight. Will try last weekends bout.

I like Martin but I don't want to fall victim to recency bias. He fought a great fight against someone he was a level above. Rivera had no game plan and his lack of footwork and punch variation was apparent. That being said, he's definitely in the mix with the rest of the 135 guys.

Then you should broaden your horizons. A ton a very talented (both in the past and now) fighters below 140.

I meant Shakur, think it’ll be who he ends up fighting in a WBC eliminator, but yea Martin-Ortiz would be class. Different sides of the street so to speak though aren’t they? Ortiz with TR and Martin PBC

Pitbull Cruz's dad want no part of Stevenson. Just wondering if Cruz is amenable to an inhouse fight with Martin.

Martin looked good against a game but unproven opponent. Shakur will have to beat someone with a pulse at 135 before I'm a believer. Would like to see him in there with Kambosos in '23.

Not saying they deserve to be ranked above Haney, Loma, Tank etc on merit but in terms of ability I think they’re the best two and beat all three of them.

You honestly believe Martin would beat Gervonta Davis if they were to fight next?

Yeah I think he’d outbox him. I don’t think it’s a forgone conclusion but I’d lean towards Martin.
