    My controversial opinion about 135.

I think Shakur Stevenson and Frank Martin are already the best two fighters in that division.

Not saying they deserve to be ranked above Haney, Loma, Tank etc on merit but in terms of ability I think they’re the best two and beat all three of them.

Loma destroys everyone in terms of ability. He is a little featherweight in the legit welterweight dossers' pool.

Eh, I don't think it's that far off.

      It could easily be true.

Both of those guys are going to be on P4P lists for a long time.

Not sure I'd be putting my money on Martin to beat Haney if that was the fight announced next, I think at that level you need to be in with a top-class operator to prepare you for that kind of fight, huge step up from a Marinez or Rivera to elite level. He's talented though no doubt, and possibly he might be the Spence to a titlist's Kell Brook at some point, just needs the opportunity to show it. Would chuck him in just above Kambosos and Zepeda, probably below Haney/Tank/Loma at present.

Stevenson is clearly excellent, if we're not going to see the Isaac Cruz fight I do hope he fights Jamaine Ortiz as his first at 135.

With you on Shakur.....I'm not sure how Martin does against pure inside fighters like Pitbull.

You honestly think Cruz is competitive with The Ghost after that performance against Rivera??

Martin looked excellent against Rivera but Rivera fought a VERY one dimensional fight and didn't adjust his game plan. Rivera also doesn't look particularly fast. His feet are particularly slow. So, I can't really make any clear assessment from Martin beating Rivera other than Martin has some really good attributes. Those attributes will be challenged by guys that can actually move on their feet and are crafty. Rivera was not crafty at all. Having said that, Martin has lots of potential and can maybe do great things. Hard to be certain of that at this point, though.

140 and below are honestly too small for me to give a **** about. I was 140 at 12.

If you catch me talking like I know my ass at those weights I am full of **** and should be called out for it. I watch them only seldom.
