5K through cable. Another 2.5K through the internet? 7.5K buys sounds about right.

If HBO PPV, with all of their marketing power, only did 50K for Crawford-Postol, a junior welterweight unification and lineal title fight, would it be all that surprising if BLK Prime did less than 10K for Crawford-Avanesyan?

black Prime said the event was a success and the pay-per-view buys far exceeded expectations. Perhaps their expectations were 2,000 buys and ONLY a 20 million dollar loss

“That fight not gonna happen because he already talking that 60//40 deal and if it ain’t 60/40 in my favor then that fight is not going to happen. Period.” Crawford told FightHype.com. “I accomplished way more than he did in his little career.”

“I don’t really care if that fight don’t happen anymore.” Crawford said. “I used to be all up on that fight but the way things been going these last couple of years it just rubbed off on me. I don’t care about it anymore. If we fight we fight, if we don’t we don’t.”

“I’m not the one that is the reason why it didn’t happen and I’m not the one that said ‘Oh, well, you need Spence,’” Crawford continued. “Why would I need Spence? A lot of people say I need Spence. I don’t need Spence. The fans want Spence.”

Was never even a draw with a promoter.

Promoters don’t even promote these days. It takes a charismatic fighter to promote himself. Crawford isn’t charismatic, and he doesn’t really fight good fighters frequently enough. In a decade, he fought two, Postol and Porter.

He just has failed miserably to catch fans attention. The 5k PPV sold there, that’s 5k of his most hardcore fans.

Someone like Canelo fights Avenseyan, he would probably get something like 300k. And that’s for a terrible match and terrible undercard.

But someone like Crawford tries to do that, well, we see it here, 5k. That’s what he’s worth.

Wouldn’t be surprised at all. Crawford got so much praise from ESPN and they tried to hype him as much as possible but nothing seemed to help his public image. I doubt him being a free agent is going to help him secure the bigger names but it’s all good because he does seem to enjoy taking on lesser challengers

Lmao hardly shocking is it hope Crawford is happy with himself though he got paid nice too bad it was at the cost of everybody's respect. Messed the fans around, ducked spence than goes and makes a show of himself while at the same time lowering his value. He will never fight Spence now with them numbers and the offers he will get what a joke of a fighter.
