What does that have to do with getting the shot though, none of the other fighters were even offered championship fights in their second fight, lose, and offered another one.

WTF is wrong with some of you? At what point does the undisputed champion get respected!
You are acting like Haney has been a devout ****** since his birth, c'mon man you know it's a façade.

I think too many people are missing that point! When Loma was "Undisputed," he swerved Haney with that WBC "Franchise" Belt! When George Kambosos was "Undisputed," Haney had to agree to a 3-fight deal, with 2 being in Australia! Now that Haney is "Undisputed" he should be calling shots, and Top Rank should be treating him like he's their #1 priority! If he wants March, in Las Vegas, in his backyard, Top Rank should make it happen! Haney has earned that respect! Give him Loma in March, or Stevenson in March, or give him Teofimo Lopez! He really seems to want that too!

Either way it's bull Haney isn't a devout ****** stop with that bs, just because his dad converted during one of his several prison stints doesn't mean ****. What kind of devout ****** walks around Australia wearing jackets with Jesus Christ on them and hats with crosses on them?

It's just an act it's sad too that it's being used as excuse, if he was a legit ****** I'd understand as the fasting would interfere with the intensity of training but this is clearly not the case.
Regardless of him being devout or not isn't for us to question. We all do things that go against some form of our belief system at times in our lives. The fact remains that he is the undisputed champion, and if he would rather the fight happen before it starts, he should be accommodated or choose another opponent that will. Loma doesn't have a belt for any type of leverage.

He's not getting disrespected for his status as a champion, it's the excuses just like Loma with his excuses after the Lopez loss, excuses shouldn't be made before or after fights...

As pointed out by other posters other ESPN don't want it competing with other programming as they know it'll lose out and surely Haney knows this which makes it seem like he wants to swerve the fight, which is w/e because the french fries belt robbed us of that fight happening earlier but we got the Lopez fight instead.

I'm not denying his status as undisputed but why was this never brought up before in the past? It's not like Haney has never fought during Ramadan before, and it takes 2 to fight you can't lack respect for Lomachenko and force him to fight earlier, it's what works for both fighters.

Sounds like Haney is already using an excuse for his weight he should just move up and let those titles be up for grabs then he already made a defense.

Make it in March or make it in June/July.

Lomachenko doesn't have any leverage here. Other than Top Rank favoring him because this is the last fight on Haney's contract.

Haney gave away his free agency, took short money TWICE, traveled TWICE to australia…only to be told he cant even pick his date based on religious reasons?!? This aint right Bob the Builder

Haney has the right to be frustrated but honestly if you are putting yourself on the shelf for 4 months of the year because of religion you need to be reasonable. Surely they can make the fight June.
