He's been given championship fights from the day he stepped in, and even after losing, they kept him on P4p lists with only a handful of fights. I could go on and on, but it doesn't matter what I actually think, because you will create a racist image or divide in your mind, and that's your truth.
The guy has how many fights and how many of them are defenses? Your argument holds no weight at all Fam. Fine he got a quick path to a belt, he’s defended the hell out of his belts tho. So again how is being hand held? He didn’t get the rematch with teo did he? Man has lost once since being put on p4p. Once. Let that reality set in. He’s not the only top ten p4p who has taken a loss…

Its not just the weight, but how its lost, and the amount of energy and time needed for the type of training needed for a fight of this magnitude.

Was pretty trivial to find out that Ramadan hasn't been an obstacle in the past. For the one in this article, it was for Abdullaev, but not for Haney.

I'm admittedly biased though. I like Lomachenko, I despise weight bullies and think that cutting weight should be banned, and I think Loma needs a long camp to be ready for Haney. Haney's good. Loma will need to be his best self to get past that jab of Haney's, and he's a slow starter against a guy who's really good at banking early rounds.

I can't fault Haney for seeking the advantage though. He's the champ, and he should be seeking to get an edge. Fury does the same thing every fight, and doesn't get called out for it. It's a BS excuse because it's not been a problem before, but I can't fault him for trying. I'd rather see a fight that's closer to 50/50, and it does serve Loma to have it later rather than earlier.

-edit- Loma was also supposed to get the Kambosos fight before Haney got the call, and got it deferred because he was serving in an actual war. So there may be some extra deference granted for that by Arum. Not Haney's fault of course, but that's likely a part of the equation.

I hope Devin Haney stands his ground.

He already accommodated Top Rank by taking a small purse and agreeing to a rematch clause against Kambosos. And fought him twice in Australia.

He has earned the right to call the shots now.

Haney is the kind of guy boxing should be celebrating and until this fight is officially off then I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
You don't know shít about what I think you imbecile, I just don't want hear excuses.

J-rock won his world title DURING RAMADAN,you might be fine with excuses and shít from people you worship but as far as i'm concerned no fighter is above criticism.

well if haney has fought around this time before then he must be worried about loma, funny cos most of his fans seem to think loma is useless

He's the only one on P4p that has taken 2 losses in only 19 fights. A quick path doesn't even capture what he was given, he was basically escorted and driven in a limousine to a championship. He was given a championship fight in only his third fight after LOSING his second. That's the very definition of handheld.

I get wanting to have the fight earlier. I would love it if it is in march. If you were espn though, when would you have it? When devin haney wants it or when it will do the best ratings? There isn't some conspiracy here and devin doesn't have much say in when it will be. if espn doesn't want to show it, it doesn't happen.

Amir Khan handicapped his career because of Ramidan, I hope Haney doesn't do the same too
