Haney converted to Islam April 2020, or 21, as for the whole usyks ramadan comments is nothing to do with usyk fasting, its soley due to the fact arum wants to stage fury vs usyk in saudi... which is a ****** state therefore most if not ALL sporting events are on holiday in saudi arabia, arum doesnt want that to be a issue so wants to make fury fight before ramadan and haney fight AFTER ramadan

You could also argue that any fighter should get a shot early really as Muangsurin won his title after three fights with no Olympic pedigree to speak of and only domestic amateur boxing competitions as his boxing pedigree...Last edited by Boro; 12-13-2022, 03:56 PM.

"Haney has been open about his weight struggles at 135 in the past and has considered moving up to 140." But wait, if Haney is fasting from March 22nd to April 21st, shouldn't he lose weight during that time? So a fight in late May shouldn't present an overweight issue.

Either way it's bull Haney isn't a devout ****** stop with that bs, just because his dad converted during one of his several prison stints doesn't mean ****. What kind of devout ****** walks around Australia wearing jackets with Jesus Christ on them and hats with crosses on them?
It's just an act it's sad too that it's being used as excuse, if he was a legit ****** I'd understand as the fasting would interfere with the intensity of training but this is clearly not the case.

Haney is an undisputed champion wanting a fight sooner rather than later, against the best possible opponent at the weight, and we have posters mad at him for that and questioning his religion?
WTF is wrong with some of you? At what point does the undisputed champion get respected!
