He is also the only one that fought anything close to that level of competition in 19 fights. Most guys are fighting garbage 19 fights in. Loma had like 10 title defenses by that time.

Exactly, but I'm sure if you would have asked Floyd, Shakur, or any other great amateur and Olympian if they would like to fight for a championship in their third professional fight, they would have jumped at the opportunity. But, the opportunity wasn't given was it?

Haney converted to Islam April 2020, or 21, as for the whole usyks ramadan comments is nothing to do with usyk fasting, its soley due to the fact arum wants to stage fury vs usyk in saudi... which is a ****** state therefore most if not ALL sporting events are on holiday in saudi arabia, arum doesnt want that to be a issue so wants to make fury fight before ramadan and haney fight AFTER ramadan

Bronze and Silver aren't quite the same as a 2x gold medalist now are they? and arguably the greatest amateur ever.

You could also argue that any fighter should get a shot early really as Muangsurin won his title after three fights with no Olympic pedigree to speak of and only domestic amateur boxing competitions as his boxing pedigree...

"Haney has been open about his weight struggles at 135 in the past and has considered moving up to 140." But wait, if Haney is fasting from March 22nd to April 21st, shouldn't he lose weight during that time? So a fight in late May shouldn't present an overweight issue.

And loma had to paid Arum his own signing bonus money just so he can get a title shot against Salido in his second pro fight.

That's not how cutting weight works, they need to drink a lot of water in order to cut properly these days. It would also mess with energy levels during training camp.

Either way it's bull Haney isn't a devout ****** stop with that bs, just because his dad converted during one of his several prison stints doesn't mean ****. What kind of devout ****** walks around Australia wearing jackets with Jesus Christ on them and hats with crosses on them?

It's just an act it's sad too that it's being used as excuse, if he was a legit ****** I'd understand as the fasting would interfere with the intensity of training but this is clearly not the case.

I agree that they should get a shot, but they don't. Loma did, it was definitely preferential treatment.

Haney is an undisputed champion wanting a fight sooner rather than later, against the best possible opponent at the weight, and we have posters mad at him for that and questioning his religion?

WTF is wrong with some of you? At what point does the undisputed champion get respected!
