Today when you beat a guy once you'd be hard pressed to find people to ride you about not fighting him again. Today we complain about fighters never getting in the ring for the first time. Johnson faced Langford, Jeannette, and McVea ~10 times collectively. I believe he gets a break. Not to mention he didn't draw a color line, it was just about $$$. A color line is refusing to fight someone because they are of an inferior race. You cannot compare the two.Comment
