Truest words ever spoken about the sport of boxing

A true fighter should be able to and want to fight with anyone with enough talent to aspire to the title and that means not building a wall around himself the gate of which is strictly forbidden to anyone likely to beat him. - Jack Johnson

If you disagree, you're not a fan of the sport.

Too bad Jack Johnson never gave the other great black fighters a shot at his title after winning it.

I guess Floyd "Needs Money" Mayweather didn't get the memo.

            He got it,

but "Al Haymon and Leonard Ellerbe conduct his business".

Johnson was a great, great fighter, but I was actually thinking the same thing.

That's when a legitimate WW calls him out. When smaller fighters call him out he's his own CEO...

It doesn't take away from the meaning but I think its pretty natural to question the man who said it considering the circumstances of the quote.

I guess I ****ed up your whole ****** little meaning bull**** with the truth, you should probably find a different fighter if your trying to prove a point.

Jack Johnson never fought the best black fighters after winning the title because he said White people weren't going to pay to see two ni**ers fighting for the title.
