Why would a fighter any fighter question his corner ( twice ) if he still has it ?
Then upon his win say that his opponent ran the whole fight

But something is definitely not right and is sucking the life out of him.
I sometimes forget these fighters get pounded in the head for years and think all functions stay stable.

Lopez since being dropped by George is suffering from the Anthony Joshua syndrome.

Part of the problem is he was reliant on
physicality and punching power, and that simply hasn’t followed him to the 140 lb division.

A proper trainer could not but benefit Lopez because pops is not the real deal. Still, Teo must make a decision to get his head straight first. Otherwise a new trainer would just be masking symptoms without addressing cause. Once he gets clarity, I suspect the other problems, e.g. family, finances, etc, will recede, with much less influence on his ring performances.

Not saying it's over but when a fighter starts getting into his head, it's not a good sign.

Starting to seem like a 140 lb. version of AJ. Sad to see.

                      Two comments here were perfect.
                      1) "No more tall guys". LOOOOL
                      2) Teo is the new AJ (yes, exactly)

Just watching the prefight piece where Teo is talking all this grand stuff, trying to sound ultra confident and philosophicaly mature, it just all sounds manufactured and as though he doesn't even believe what he's saying. It's very weird, but clearly he has some mental health hurdles and probably familial/life issues he needs help with. At his core he seems like a good dude that's being hidden because of the pressure, his dad, his family, etc. and so what comes out is this weirdo AJ-style mess of conflicting personalities and sometimes delusion and denial.
