Your right, Lopez should be better at cutting off the ring, but that doesn't mean we have a double standard for scoring the fight. We shouldn't award a round to Martin just for avoiding conflict and only reward Lopez a round when he can create an engagement.
Martin did have some good counters, and it was a close fight. But in most rounds Lopez landed more, and landed better. Defaulting rounds to Martin just because the round lacked the amount of activity that Lopez wanted is not an objective way of judging.
