If Haye is in the shape he usually is before fights, his stamina will not be a problem. I've never heard of an athlete before, who can do the following workout:

100m sprint in less than 15 sec (at 215+ lbs weight)
    catch breath for 30 sec.
    repeat 99 times (!!!)

Holyfield is awesome for his age, but is not in the fitness of the 29 y/o Haye.

People seem to be forgetting where this fight is being staged.

Haye HAS TO knock him out - perhaps THREE times and maybe, just maybe he'll stand a chance of a draw.

I think it could be true with another oponent... You can call Haye anything, but i don`t think he`s ******... I think he knows about judging in Germany... And the only reason why he "took" the fight was that Don King promised him something... Haye wouldn`t take the fight in which he wouldn`t knock the guy out with high probability in the country were you can send your oponent to the canvas for 6 times and gat a draw... So he was promised something...

So the fact that David took the fight in Germany, means to me that Don King decided to get rid of Valuev and become a part of the more profitable brand which is "David Haye"...

        That is my uneducated opinion...

Holyfield's chin was never tested against Valuev, so there's no reason why Haye's should be either (unless he throws the fight away by being reckless).

And Haye has good stamina, you're just showing up your lack of knowledge by claiming he hasn't.

In his last fight that went the distance (against Abdoul) he won all 12 rounds on all three cards.

In his last fight that went more than 7 rounds he knocked out Fragomeni in the ninth, and although cut, he never looked at all tired - in fact it was Fragomeni who tired in the late rounds.

In his last fight that went more than 6 rounds he knocked out Mormeck in the seventh, and looked as fresh in the seventh as he did in the first.

The last time he had any stamina issues was more than five years ago against Carl Thompson, in only Haye's eleventh professional fight, when he punched himself out; but he learned from that fight, trains far harder now, and doesn't use such naive tactics in the ring any more. He lost that fight because of naive tactics, not because of any lack of stamina.

It's a pretty good one. You may be right about King. As far as promoting goes he's been out in the wilderness ever since Oscar made good. But he knows the trump card has forever been HW. It's the division that Joe Public has always look towards first.

I should think King considers Haye manna from heaven. Articulate, intelligent and with knockout power in either hand. You can bet he'll be massaging Haye's ego and giving him the old King bait and switch.

If a 100 year old Holymoley and Chaggerz can do it i'm sure Haye can win this

Haye has to outwork him. If Haye wars with Valuev, he'll loose. And I think he knows it. I expect a dancing performance like Holyfield and Chagaev did.
why so ... if Haye lands clean .. you don't think he could put Valuev's lights out?

should be a decent fight to watch either way as Haye is entertaining to watch.

On th other side if Valuev lands clean he can put Haye out.And he is easily the more easier to put out between the 2.

It would be smart if he'd boxed.
