Haye shouldn't try anything to bold with this yeti. He should use his jab get in and out quickly, keep the fight in the center of the ring. If an ancient Holyfield was too fast for Grimace then he shouldn't be able to land very much at all on Haye.....if Haye fights smart.

If Haye isn`t going for a KO - yes, it will win the fight...

Val is too slow. Haye should outwork him to a UD.

I think Haye needs to attack the body of Valuev, chip away at it and after 10 rounds of Hayemakers in the Gut Valuev wont be doing too good.
I don't think thats what he's getting at, he's simply stating that he doesn't think Haye can knock him out, like Haye promised he would.

Lennox is right.....Haye needs to wrestle with a few grizzly bears in sparring to get ready for this one ......WAR HAYE!!!!

It's a possibility that he will crumble.

That's why the fight is so interesting.

Body shots are the key. The head is far away from Haye and he will waste a lot of energy reaching for the head, especially with the haymakers he throws. The body will be right in front of him at a perfect height. He should work Valuev's body for half the fight then start throwing Hayemakers when he knows Valuev is a sitting duck.

But in order to throw body shots you have to get inside close which puts him in danger.

Don't even recall many peple going to Valuev's body.

He has the head movement to avoid his slow punches, or he could just go in and out and pot shot the body.

Valuev is getting slower with age. He had a decent jab, but it was no good against Holyfield. Valuev's punches are no bombs - at least compared to size/weight. Haye should be able to soak up a few.

Haye has to outwork him. If Haye wars with Valuev, he'll loose. And I think he knows it. I expect a dancing performance like Holyfield and Chagaev did.
