RIP Mills. One of the greatest referees ever in boxing, respected by all. Mills said "the greatest pure fighter he ever saw was Roberto Duran"
Mills top 5 referee of my lifetime.Comment

One of the best refs of all time, a very honest Ref, something that's rare these days. Always enjoyed watching Mills do his job in a lot of the big fights in the late 80's and 90's. RIP tough guy.Comment

R.I.P, probably one of the best referees ever. I think it's deserved to say one last time. ANY QUESTIONS FROM THE CHAMPION? ANYTHING QUESTIONS FROM THE CHALLENGER? LET'S GET IT ON!!! RIPComment

Man - i think Mills Lane was the first boxing personality I recognized in person at a fight my dad took me to as a kid. I think that was the first boxing autograph I ever got, it was in between fights and he was walking around the ballroom in his ref uniform when I asked him, he was happy to do it. It also has me thinking of those days. RIPLast edited by LA_2_Vegas; 12-06-2022, 03:58 PM.Comment
