He also said that he was about to leave when his work ethic was being questioned by the Canelo camp. Tank, for his part, not Mayweather, has always let it be known that he would take the fight. Now, as far as the PED stuff, I don't like it, but I can see where Davis is trying to make sure there's no funny business because Garcia already has the edge in size. But, regardless, Ryan can't fix his defensive flaws this quick, and will end up with his lights out.
Why would Ryan leave GBP over remarks make by Canelo when Canelo was already long gone from GBP stable? Ryans issues have always stemmed from purses and Oscar airing out that Ryan turned down an offer to headline a card because of a purse he wasn't happy with. I have yet to hear or read an article stating Ryan wasn't happy with his level of opponent or progression.

Come fight night we"ll see whos who in that ring.

He was not disgruntled over the purse, he was mad about GBP not believing in him and making the fights that he wanted. He has a huge following, and he grew tired of his fans saying that he didn't want to fight the best, but he said that it wasn't him, it was GBP.

Anyone thinking PBC is only relevant in 3 weight classes is smoking crack, or DKSAB!
These are the only weight classes pbc is relevant in. Tank, Benavidez, Wilder, and Ruiz will never win a title again. The rest are irrelevant. Both Charlos are on the way out. They won’t be champions by the end of next year. That’s the problem with 4 world titles and a bunch of secondary fake ones doing promoters favors. Casuals think those bullsh it belts mean something, but real fans don’t care about them. Aka, they don’t watch their fights.
we can debate this and I’ll destroy your fan boy logic.

If Thurman had beat Avanesyan in an eliminator, I wouldn't be mad at Spence Jr. vs. Thurman! However, Thurman vs. Barrios in an eliminator? That's hot garbage by the WBC!!!

I don't think Spence Jr. vs. Boots happens @ 147! I could definitely see it happening @ 154!

Yeah, hate is blinding you badly! Stephen "Cool Boy Steph" Fulton is a real Champion, with 2 titles at 122, and soon to be fighting Figueroa for the WBC title @ 126! He already has 2 of the 4 belts @ 122, and you don't think that's relevant? ESPN has Tank #3 and Pitbull Cruz #5 at 135. 2 of the Top 5 in one division, and that's not relevant? ESPN has Benavidez #2 , Plant #3, and Morrell Jr. #6 at 168! Again 2 of the Top 5, and they're not relevant? Again, ESPN has Wilder #3 and Ruiz #5! Again 2 out of the Top 5! You see what you want to see, but your knowledge of this game is highly suspect!

I’ll be surprised if Ortiz gets to fight Staniones without having to sign his life over to PBC and Showtime.

No such things as "if it's up to me" in this sport. You are responsible for the fights you make from the very first moment you stepped in the ring. No exception. Ask Golovkin or any of the most hated personalities in boxing.
