First, he is an open admirer and friend of Al Haymon, the powerful boxing manager who is reviled by many fans for his shady business practices. Second, Hearn has been accused of favoritism towards British fighters, often giving them preferential treatment in terms of matchups and opportunities. Third, Hearn's promotion, Matchroom Boxing, has a reputation for being disorganized and chaotic, which has led to several high-profile boxing events being cancelled or postponed. Finally, Hearn himself is often seen as arrogant and out-of-touch, which has only served to further alienate American boxing fans.
You think Hearn and Haymon are friends?

You clowns talk about Al stealing Oscar's fighters but I think you meant to say Eddie Hearn stealing Oscar's fighters. Eddie literally stole Canelo from him and now he is so desperate that he is going behind Oscar's back again by trying to steal Ryan vs Tank fight

won't consider him a "JOKE" but he did fail miserably in the U.S. which was so easy to predict because for one Boxing is just not that popular here in the U.S.

I don't Top Rank is doing all that great either, they not a Ratings Draw for ESPN and what is shocking is that despite the ESPN exposure they have yet to build a PPV star or a guy that is a big draw sure they love Loma but Loma is not a Draw he still fights in the small room/theater at MSG

so boxing as a whole here in America is "Failing" if/when ESPN pulls the plug on Boxing WTF would happen to Top Rank

I speak only for myself. Find where I've written anything disproportionately critical of PBC and you may have a point.

But get one smarmy tall Brit into the mix and somehow he has messed up American boxing - like all the best fights are being made anyway without Hearn. Stevenson-Kovalev, Manny-Floyd - 2009/10, Crawford-Spence, Charlo-Andrade,
You mean the biggest selling fights ever like Floyd-De La Hoya, Floyd-Hatton, Floyd- JMM, Floyd- Canelo, Wilder- Fury; alongside great fights in general like Teo-Loma, Thurman-Porter, Spence Porter, Spence-Garcia both, Shakur-Valdez, and coming up Haney-Loma, and Tank-Garcia. There's quite a long list of others, but you get the point, the big fights can be made without Mighty Mouth's involvement.

As far as I can tell, it's mostly down to Americans having a poor sense of humour. They'll need to learn to find one when China replaces the US as the global hegemon.

If I didn't know what a tool this guy is I would take that as sarcasm of the highest order!

The only one of those biggest selling fights that didn't involve Floyd Mayweather is Wilder vs Fury. And Wilder himself admitted that he was offered more money to fight AJ than he got for fighting Fury.

Speak for yourself certainly. Problem is a lot of folks speaking for themselves have the smoke for the same topic and none for the others of his ilk. Methinks something is afoot…
