You clowns talk about Al stealing Oscar's fighters but I think you meant to say Eddie Hearn stealing Oscar's fighters. Eddie literally stole Canelo from him and now he is so desperate that he is going behind Oscar's back again by trying to steal Ryan vs Tank fightComment

won't consider him a "JOKE" but he did fail miserably in the U.S. which was so easy to predict because for one Boxing is just not that popular here in the U.S.
I don't Top Rank is doing all that great either, they not a Ratings Draw for ESPN and what is shocking is that despite the ESPN exposure they have yet to build a PPV star or a guy that is a big draw sure they love Loma but Loma is not a Draw he still fights in the small room/theater at MSG
so boxing as a whole here in America is "Failing" if/when ESPN pulls the plug on Boxing WTF would happen to Top RankComment

Why is it that this captain save-a-ho type of statement is never said when someone is attacking Haymon or pbc though. Fine if someone doesn’t like that fans are appreciative of the promotions associated with their country, nationality, or ethnic group but the consistency of this statement doesn’t measure up to scrutiny. It is literally ONLY said when someone had something less than stellar to say about Hearn or daznComment

All I learned from these comments is that Americans don'tlike outsiders coming on to their patch. Funny that, because I've only ever read that the US has been built off the backs of waves of immigration and not to mention the slave trade. Irish, Italian, Germans, Poles, Japanese and Latins.
But get one smarmy tall Brit into the mix and somehow he has messed up American boxing - like all the best fights are being made anyway without Hearn. Stevenson-Kovalev, Manny-Floyd - 2009/10, Crawford-Spence, Charlo-Andrade,Last edited by Rebelrbg; 12-05-2022, 01:55 PM.Comment

The only one of those biggest selling fights that didn't involve Floyd Mayweather is Wilder vs Fury. And Wilder himself admitted that he was offered more money to fight AJ than he got for fighting Fury.Comment

Speak for yourself certainly. Problem is a lot of folks speaking for themselves have the smoke for the same topic and none for the others of his ilk. Methinks something is afoot…Comment

You mean the biggest selling fights ever like Floyd-De La Hoya, Floyd-Hatton, Floyd- JMM, Floyd- Canelo, Wilder- Fury; alongside great fights in general like Teo-Loma, Thurman-Porter, Spence Porter, Spence-Garcia both, Shakur-Valdez, and coming up Haney-Loma, and Tank-Garcia. There's quite a long list of others, but you get the point, the big fights can be made without Mighty Mouth's involvement.
