All the established promoters are scum in their own way. This new breed of "muh favourite promoter" fans are the real joke.

On the one hand, Arum is not wrong. On the other, it's not really worth celebrating that their protectionism held up.

Boxing is in a bad place because of promoting silos that stop the fights we want to see. Now, I'm not saying Hearn/DAZN would be any better than that, but the whole endeavour does show how depressingly succesful the promoters are at keeping their fighters in house. The entrenchment is deep and a billion dollar war chest couldn't crack it.

Well the biggest culprit of stopping the big fights has been Dazn ever since they arrived in the States. First they fuqed up AJ vs Wilder when they were on a collision course and they took AJ off Showtime and put him on Dazn. Then they told Devin that they would make the Ryan fight but Dazn couldn't get Ryan's scurred azz to sign. They told Tevin he would get Tank and didnt deliver. They told Andrade that he would get 3G, Canelo, Mungia, Charlo and Blow Job Saunders and got none. They didn't hardly make any of the MW fights.

I've said it once and I'll day it again, in order to avoid a total collapse of American boxing a few things has to happen in the following order: 1) Dazn has to admit they have been an abysmal failure and just pack up and take their business back across the pond. 2) Bob Al and Oscar has to put aside their egos and partner up 3) need to get a good investor like Warren Buffet, who is a true boxing fan, to inject a lil cash into it 4) get rid of the sanctioning bodies. 5) allow ESPN FOX and Showtime to have more control over the match ups since they know which fighter would work best on their network

Why is it that this captain save-a-ho type of statement is never said when someone is attacking Haymon or pbc though. Fine if someone doesn’t like that fans are appreciative of the promotions associated with their country, nationality, or ethnic group but the consistency of this statement doesn’t measure up to scrutiny. It is literally ONLY said when someone had something less than stellar to say about Hearn or dazn

Marvnation - Triller - BLK prime has to realize that Dazn was an app that came in with billions of dollars in their war chest, they had a proven promoter who had success in the UK and had signed a few popular American fighters to go along with their stable of UK fighters AND THEY STILL FAILED HORRIBLY!!! ONLY BOB OSCAR AND AL CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!
