IIRC, Teo Jr. wanted the fight to go to purse bid in order to maximize his earning potential. He wasn't pleased with TR's offer for the match-up, and decided to try his luck in a purse bid. He was correct in his assumpion as both Triller and Matchroom bid higher than TR, but Teo/Kambosos was definitely not worth what Triller bid on it. Teo made a decision that complicated things for TR. Teo got greedy and wanted to make a fortune fighting a mandatory, and it ultimately bit him in the ass. Then he had the audacity to claim robbery by DAZN/Matchroom when it was Teo's greed that allowed Matchroom to stage the match-up in the first place. Teo gave up his promotional advantage for more money, but then regretted it.

Crawford is a promotional free agent, and he's taking full advantage of his freedom by taking the opportunity that brings him the most money. Teo should be rooting for Crawford.
