Khan was with gpb just like everybody else that Floyd fought during that time. It wasn't a promotional issue.

Khan vs Floyd was supposed to happen in 2012.

Khan loss to peterson at the end of 2011. And then loss to Danny after that. This is the only time Khan vs Floyd was actually supposed to happen

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya has given some clear hints that he wants a welterweight clash between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Amir Khan in 201

Amir Khan, the world light welterweight champion, is relishing the prospect of a fight next year against Floyd Mayweather Jr

Nobody avoided Amir Con. Before someone cries Bradley he signed with TR and fought Pac. Khan represented the easy UK money.

Amir Khan... I mean.... What are we talking about here?

To be clear I preferred Maidan and that choice was a win for the fans.

Even then l'l floydy needed a commish scorecard rearrangement and 2 week backdated TUE to win that fight where he was the loser according to fans and the first cards.

Khan came up short every time he fought someone who wasn't either past their prime, or feather-fisted. Stop hyping mediocre fighters.

LOL, Kahn in his PRIME record showed nothing near as special as Mayweather, Delahoya, Canelo, Cotto, Moseley or Pac. He HAD only ONE gear in a fight. Only one fight he impressed me and it was just ONE fight and that was against Chino.
Unaware boxing fans think speed is all you need. If that were true Kahn should be undefeated.

Floyd made a good call with Maidana.

Maidana had a belt at 147 having just beaten Baby Bro Broner.

Khan had done nothing at 147, and this didn't change.

If they had fought, it would have been similar to Hatton, right hand counters and check hooks when Khan got sloppy.

Khan was better with his mouth than his fists after Garcia wrecked him, he made a fortune by talking his way into fights he had no chance of winning.

Maybe too scared that Khan could outbox him and he has to hope that Khan gasses in the later rounds
