This is what I think Crawford’s problem is:

He acts like he’s a big ticket seller, big PPV seller, when he’s far from it. So he goes to the negotiating table with all his worthless titles, his rankings, and all the praise in the world from all of the journalists. Including Max Kellerman, ironically. This article is about a question asked from one of Crawford’s biggest mainstream nuthuggers.

So Crawford is coming to the negotiating table thinking he’s De La Hoya, Mayweather or Canelo due to his rankings and titles. Those guys were not the A-side due to rankings and titles. It was because they attracted a lot fans to purchase their fights. Crawford doesn’t do that.

Spence at least has a little over 1 million total PPV’s sold in 3 fights. Crawford has struggled to even get to 300k total.
