I agree when they say this division used to be the cream of the crop, the filet mignon of the sport. Nowadays it's total garbage. The so-called second tiers are all playing waiting games, instead of fighting each other or at least keep busy. What a miserable sport we have.

Unfortunately a few boxers can ruin the sport. PBC WWs were all fighting each other with hopes of an undisputed match with Bud when he left TR. Everything was going perfectly until he pulled this stunt and now it's ruined. 160-168 have not been fighting each other every since dazn entered the market in 2018. Every boxer in those two divisions avoided each other in hopes of winning the Canelo sweepstakes. Thankfully David vs Caleb is happening in March. Same thing with AJ and Wilder hanging on to those belts without fighting each other. Hopefully 135 will do right with Tank v Ryan and Haney v Loma.

As someone who is a Crawford fan and even rocks some Crawford merch. Mr. Crawford if you you want to know what to do here is sound advice. Do whatever you want, but don't expect any boxing fan who isn't a fan boy or some newbie to believe you. You consistently fight terrible opponents and then try to make it sound like you are really looking for the best fights. Replacing Spence with a basic tune up fight at this point in your career is unacceptable.

If Bud can get guaranteed money for fighting everyone else, but can’t get guaranteed money for fighting Spence, then f Spence and his team…they are undoubtedly the problem.

He would make more money fighting Spence it would have easily been his biggest purse, TC just didn't want to bet that fans would pay to see the fight, in which blind Freddie could see it was going to be a big PPV.

Bud wants guarantees for B graders which is not hard to do, with the big fights its often a percentage, the biggest fighters in the sport have taken and made a motza out of the percentage of all revenue.
