Bud gets so much stick here, but I think he beats both of these guys today. If either thought they were ready they could have lobbied hard with WBO to make it happen. I know Vergil doesn’t have the right style to trouble Crawford too much, Ennis is more of a question mark, but he’s still pretty inexperienced. He’s looked very special on the rise but Bud has seen a lot in his time and is very special himself. They should fight each other and the winner forces the issue. Final eliminator.Comment

For how much again? Says he was willing to take 60-40, just wanted a guarantee.
He holds a title and is #1 p4p. If Haymon believes in Spence why not make the guarantee, make the fight and let Spence prove that he is the best at WW?
I mean Haymon loses money on terrible Wilder ppvs. He can surely guarantee something.
Spence and Bivol easily have better wins than Crawford.Comment

Bud is his own boss, right? That means he sought out Avanesyan.Comment

Not an interesting fight, but easy to see 10 million reasons why Crawford took it. As far as the article above the comment section, I don’t let emotional bias due to the Spence fight breaking down make me believe that Bud Crawford is afraid to fight either of those guys, or that either of them is serious about wanting him. If they are Virgil will be ordered next, end of story.Comment
