Comments Thread For: Crawford Welcomes Showdowns Against Vergil Ortiz, Jaron Ennis: "I'm The Best Fighter In The World"

For the better part of the past five years, both Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. have not only protruded toward the top of the welterweight division, but they have also established themselves as arguably the two best fighters in the world.

...come on man. This is too damn easy at this point.

AFTER you sign for a soft touch, THEN you say you'll fight them.

    Terence.

    NO SMOKE.

    Crawford.

Bud I love u dawg, but if u fight Boots Ennis, my respect level for u goes thru the roof. I already hold u in very high regard. After all, my name is Bud too. But Boots is someone who i believe is right there, ready for anyone in the world right now. Idk wth will happen if u face him but i know I'll be in the front row wherever it happens

He considers himself the best fighter in the world citing that he’s always done mandatories for a single trinket… as if Floyd considered himself the best because he did “mandatories”

You’re not the best fighter in the world clown. Look at who you’re fighting next, an unknown bum David Avenysyan. Look at your last fights , against washed up ex champions like Kell Brook and Shawn Porter and Amir Khan. You’re not even too 5 pound for pound. You unified the 140 pound division when it was the weakest. You beat Julius Indongo to unify ffs

Jaron Ennis has loads of talent I will not take that away, however we have yet to see him face anyone that wasn't flopping and looking for a space to fall, Tommy Ayers was doing the same thing in the early 80's until he ran into Marlon Starling and was exposed! I just think styles make fights and I would favor Boots over Spence before Crawford and the reason being is the mindset of Crawford and his reaction would be different than Spence in how he would respond to all the razzle dazzle of Boots per say. I still won't pick a winner between Spence and Crawford but I know either will certainly stop Ortiz and Jaron is a hand full for anyone until we see what he can take.

Pacman fought better opposition than Mayweather.
                  Barrera 2 times
                  Morales 3 times
                  Marquez 4 times

Beat Mosley, De La Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto better than Floyd.
