But the other top guys don't want to fight this guy, of that I'm convinced. Unless they're offered enough millions, then they possibly would.
But he hasn't really earned it yet, he needs to secure the fringe guys to force the top guys to fight him in a WT fight, its just the way it is, Ugas would be a good fight for him, Danny Garcia, Thurman etc he needs to get some name fighters into the ring.

What you say make absolute sense, and seems weird at the same time. Makes sense because there's no benefit for uncle Al to put his guys on a risky fight. It's weird because Showtime got the gold, yet uncle Al has the sole power to decide what to do with the gold.

Within a year dud duckford or Errol spence will be mandated to fight him or they will drop their belt. I can see spence going up to 154 then 160 to “dodge” the fight. That would entail spence staying at WW for 3 or 4 more fights and I don’t think that’s gonna happen. Now would dud duckford fight boots? Not a chance. He’ll want more than what he thinks the spence fight is worth

Whether he smokes him or not, more important is Ennis keeps himself busy. His fans would rather see him play the waiting game.

Ward is absolutely right. It's easier to look great against lower level opponents.
