Will Jaron Ennis fight again this year?

Only one fight so far- which was a two round blow out. He’s only had 3 rounds of action in in the last 12 months. That’s just not good enough, Ennis has superstar potential and should be showcased for more often. PBC really couldn’t get him a showcase fight on the Wilder undercard or the Ruiz-Ortiz card? Will Boots even fight again this year?

This kid should be fighting 2-3 times a year minimum at this stage of his career. PBC have done a really poor job with him so far.

Hope so - I'd love to see him against a guy who can go some rounds.

      29 fights - 79 rounds.

Just as an extreme comparison, tough to do in boxing - but there is the idea that Berlanga needs rounds but he is at a much high pace than Ennis at 20 fights. I might expect Berlanga to approach 80 ish rounds in the next 3 fights. It's not a metric I use to gauge fighters all the time, but in this case it seems apt. I think you put it best, just seems like it's not good enough. Need that youth influx to happen asap

Shame there isn’t a Clottey or a Baldomir type out there for him.

Stanionis, Butaev, Kavaliauskas, Avanesyan etc, somebody like that would be my choice.

Nobody knows why his team is not taking advantage of his free agent status.

He needs to fight someone in the Top 10.

It’s sad that this is becoming a rarity in Boxing.

No one cares about that showboating bum. Ortiz is real deal.

Pretty clear, simply too many mouths to feed for Showtimes boxing budget to sustain alone. Ennis isn't PBC but at this point with no outside financial backing other than Showtime,PBC and Sho are essentially one and the same. So he's getting put on the shelf like most everyone else at PBC. Drawing a blank but were there any PBC/Showtime fighters that had more than 1 fight this year?
