This wasn't hard to see coming. Munguia has been on a path of least resistance towards a big fight/payday. GGG is old and looked shopworn recently; It's no gimme fight for Jaime but if he wins he will probably try to leverage it into a showdown against Canelo for the the big cash out.

Even with Janibek looking like crap he still won't fight him.

Wait, I thought Team Golovkin picked Munguia, Munguia was on board (why wouldn't he be), but then the org said no.

That may be the case I honestly cant recall exact details I know Mungia was on board and I truly thought when he moved to 160 he wouldve pushed for GGG immediately. At one point I was fairly sure Mungia would make a good run but he has stalled out.

GGG has to fight both his mandatories. Unless he drops both belts he ain't fighting this chancer. Munguia is mandatory for the WBO so does this mean he is swerving that fight sgain

You actually make a good point. Don't like young lions calling out old shot to s*** veterans but.

What a joke. I don't know who I'm staring to dislike more Munguia or his promoter. It's seriously just shameless.

Yeah, but that guy still holds 2 belts at 160!

GGG brings more money than Janibek, plus GGG fights on DAZN, while Janibek is on ESPN.
