We need a seasonal format so people know what they are looking at.
The reason football has so many fans is that it's easy to get into.
    There's a season, there's a playoff and then a clear NO. 1.
Boxing's alphabet belts don't act like the AFC & NFC.
They barely want to work together.
So promoters get away with selling Reggie fights for Kush prices.
We need to make tournaments in boxing a more commonplace thing.
This picking and choosing lame fights until a big fight arrives needs to stop.

****. Just reading this now. Well, there goes the fight. It's not going to happen. Haney will price himself out. I imagine he'll ask for five million and then not budge. That's what he did before when offered the Loma fight, and he wasn't even undisputed back then.

PPV was the only way to get Haney the money he'll demand. We're not getting this fight guys ....

Neither can Tank. Guy did like 43k buys last time. lmao! What a joke. He can sell a gate but can't do jack for PPVs.

Only PPV guys are Canelo in the US and Joshua and Fury in the UK. That's it.

Jesus Christ you sound so scared it’s pathetic. Listen, Haney has already said he wants the fight, and loma wants the fight as well. Just stop being a lil coward and admit it: you’re afraid loma is going to lose, so you secretly are hoping the fight won’t happen.

suck it up sno flake, the fights gonna happen, and there’s nothing you can do but watch loma get smoked like the fraud he is.

Bob is making a lot of sense here. This fight should be televised on ESPN and not pay per view but not for the reasons he mentioned.

It’s because neither Loma or Haney have crossover mainstream appeal among casual fans. Therefore, the fight would be too risky for Top Rank to distribute on pay per view.

Don’t worry. ESPN has deep pockets. They will get the fight done. They did so against Teo and Loma. So I don’t see a reason why they can’t get this one done.

"Now, other people might find difficulty in this. It’s not a wise thing to do because people aren’t buying the pay-per-views. And it costs a lot of money to do it. Even if the fighters don’t take guarantees, they hate you afterwards because they haven’t made money. I think that’s the problem Haymon is running into."

I'm glad Haney vs. Loma will not be PPV, but Bob, seriously? Did you have to bring up Haymon? He might have problems, but Spence is not suing Haymon, and Bud Crawford is suing you! Efe Ajagba left PBC to go to TR, but Floyd, Mikey, and Manny left TR to go to PBC! So who's really having problems?

As I've stated before, Tank is the biggest draw at 135 and the only one capable of doing good PPV numbers. Loma, Haney, Ryan, nor anyone do numbers good enough for their promoters to risk taking a loss. That's the reason Ryan and everyone else wants to fight him. It has nothing to do with whether they believe that they would beat him, and everything to do with becoming a PPV fighter after facing him, win or lose. Even without the belts, his team calls the shots. So hopefully, after Haney beats up on Loma, which is also his last contracted fight for Top Rank, there will be no barrier between them to make the fight. Haney and Tank both said they want it, and Tank's trainer has been talking about it, plus no network or promoters controversy.
