Well we all know him making lightweight is really hard so he'll want 10 to fight loma minimum.

Loma-Davis would definitely do well on PPV. Haney-Davis too, to a lesser extent. You need a big name in the mix. That's why Loma-Lopez wasn't on PPV. TR thought about it at the time, but they quickly realized it would flop hard on PPV. ESPN had to intervene and foot that bill.

I agree with Bob overall. Screw PPV.
Davis himself doesn't belong on ppv. Hence the reason they don't release the ppv numbers.

lol at people sucking off arum as if he's not one of the main reasons why so many big fights are on ppv.

          he's part of the problem.

PPV's are down because most of these fights aren't PPV worthy.

They put main events on ppv that would barely make the televised portion of the card back in the day.

This Old f--k was doing the same crap for years that he's now critizing.

Nothing but garbage People this sport.

Bob is getting credit here but without 2 willing fighters, nothing could get done. Props to Haney and Loma for getting straight into negotiations after they just fought.

Big fights belong on PPV for the most part. Not every boxing after dark quality mismatch like what PBC puts on PPV

Boxing PPVs are down in the US because the market is saturated with non PPV worthy fights. Think about it, since Wilder Fury 3, what mainstream cross over PPV fight have we gotten ? Only thing that comes to mind is CaneloGGG3 & it was about 3 years late. The rest have been hot garbage.

Ruiz-Arreola, Tank-Rolly, Ortiz-Martin, Thurman-Barrios, Wilder-Helenius All complete garbage main events. Fans aren’t shelling out $80 for this type of crap because it’s not worth it.

Props to Bob if we get LomaHsney for free it’s a big fight sure, but not PPV big. Haney can’t sell out a high school gym & Loma isn’t exactly box office either.

At some point we can hope fighters and promoters wake up and realize that the sport is falling apart, and thus, they may want to start making the fights people see, on an app that is $10 a month like ESPN+, and regular ESPN with ads....and not on overpriced DAZN or garbage PPV's that are never worth it.

It seems like they would have all woken up to this years ago, but Arum is the first person to verbalize what needs to be said.

I'd rather he exposes his talents to a larger audience on a larger platform like ESPN, Fox, Showtime, without any on PPV, for the boxing fans. PPV is not the way to go. (I used to be a huge Spence fan until almost all his fights went on PPV. And, of course, that reckless crash. Can't be called an accident.)
